Opening piece of the album is a fantastic cover on PROCOL HARUM's ''Repent Walpurgis'', where the Shiver step on the thin line between Psych Rock and the emerging Prog Rock, delivering dramatic, melancholic and powerful music with intense feelings, led by the excellent organ work of Pastorini. Unfortunately during the rest of this effort the level of the kick off track would. never be reached again. The remaining tracks are following a typical Psychedelic Rock vein with some Pop and Blues influences, extremely dated and standard stuff, which fails to impress

Included in this eclectic mix of occult themed bands is the relatively obscure Swiss band THE SHIVER which released its sole artifact WALPURGIS in 1969 and displayed the very first album cover to feature the macabre art of Swiss artist . The title WALPURGIS is thought of as an ancient Pagan holiday or the spring equivalent of Halloween but in modern times is better known as the holy time of the year for the Satanic cults that worship Molech and other dark forces like Lucifer or Satan. Originally released in 1969 on the Maris label (catalogue number 20501), this is the only album the Swiss band Shiver ever released. It also contains both tracks that were issued as a single: "Hey Mr. Holy Man"/"The Peddle. It also features the very first time the famous designer H. R. Giger delivered some of his art to become an album sleeve.
