Deadhorse is a punk rock post rock band from Erie, P. This is an album that comes from a place of defeat, fear and anger. These are intentionally minimal arrangements inspired by the current downfall of modern civilization. The expression captured within these simple melodies is just as important as the silence between each note. These songs are politically charged, emotionally driven, and biased to the direction of the following statements. These are protest songs.

Deadhorse is an unincorporated community located within the CDP of Prudhoe Bay in North Slope Borough, Alaska, United States, along the North Slope near the Arctic Ocean. The town consists mainly of facilities for the workers and companies that operate at the nearby Prudhoe Bay Oil Field.

Deadhorse biography DEADHORSE is a post rock/instrumental band out of Erie, PA formed in August of 2009. Originally created to support Brian Morgante's solo project with a full band, Deadhorse rose into the underground indie scene. Over time, Deadhorse's sound became fully instrumental. The band released their full length debut album on June 18th, 2010 named We Can Create Our Own World. This is one of the most ambitious post rock releases of 2010; definitely worth a listen.
