On August 28, 1977, Virgil Fox began an historic series of recordings: the first digital tape recordings made in the United States. These LPs are also Fox's last recording. He passed away 3 years after these sessions, recorded August 28 to 31, 1977 at Garden Grove Community Church, Garden Grove, CA. The monumental mastery of Virgil Fox was expertly captured from the echoing hollows of that church and preserved forever - The Digital Fox. Other Versions (1 of 1) View All. Cat.

Virgil Fox - The Fox Touch, Volume Two Tonight I am being a total audio nerd and living out the crazy pleasures of an excessive audio dork. I know some people own eighteen inch subwoofer drivers to reach those elusive sub-20Hz frequencies that the majority of people cannot hear or even appreciate. But apart from the technical and physical limitations of many inadequate stereo systems, you really should at least once hear a proper pipe organ, well recorded and in a truly capable audio system and tickle your arse! This particular recording was done utilizing the extremel.
