In the City is the debut studio album by British mod revival band the Jam. Released in 1977 upon Polydor Records, the album reached No. 20 in the UK Albums Chart. The album features the band's debut single and title track "In the City".

A nnounced via last year’s single Unhappy, producer Jack Latham’s radical new direction did not meet with untrammelled delight from fans of his previous work. It’s obvious why. His acclaimed debut Classical Curves offered post-dubstep club music, but if you had to characterise its successor, you’d be more likely to describe it as shoegazing: it features Latham’s wispy vocals buried beneath woozy electronics.

Classical Curves is the first full-length album by Jack Latham, a young English electronic producer who goes by the name Jam City. Some claimed influences for the album are marble, trenchcoats, and "oily black Jeep windows. These are opaque things, hard things, things that reflect and conceal. The music isn't much different.

Jam City has offered up the full tracklist of his next LP, Dream A Garden. The album was first hinted at last fall when Jack Latham teased "Unhappy". That first single revealed a new, indie-influenced sound built around Latham's own guitar and vocals, following on from the more contemplative series of Earthly mixes (clock the most recent one here.
