Ultraviolet is the sixth full-length studio album by American sludge metal group, Kylesa. It is also the group's third album to be released through Season of Mist. Writing for Ultraviolet was done periodically throughout the span of two years, unlike previous albums which were written and recorded during shorter periods of time

On their sixth album, Ultraviolet, it's clear the band are still channeling the same mind-expanding cosmic energies that helped to make their last album such a revelation. With a sound that's not only spacy but spacious, Kylesa continue to push their sound into the stratosphere, opting for atmosphere where they once would have erected a monumental wall of murky guitars.

Each song on the album was depicted through comic strips created by artist Yale Stewart (omic). To finish it off, Justine performed songs from the album for the first time. At the end of the show, Justine came down to hang with fans and took photos, signed albums and connected on all things Tumblr.
