Victor Malloy - Musings of Monsieur Malloy album flac

Victor Malloy (actually an Englishman by the name of Russ Jones) delves into the deep, dark corners of future jazz for his debut on Inertia, THE MUSINGS OF MONSIEUR MALLOY. I’m not sure why he tries on this French persona, but if it comes out with delicious torch songs like, Trying, I won’t complain. The two parts of Mother Savage ooze with mystery and understated menace, though with some sampled vocals samples in the second part. Pussy has a wicked bass.

Malloy collects sounds, and can sometimes be spotted roaming the streets, snatching soundbytes to twist and use later in his music.
