Terror 2000 is a thrash metal-band from Helsingborg, Sweden. A side project of Soilwork singer Björn "Speed" Strid, the band also includes guitarists Klas Ideberg (of Darkane) and Nick Sword (of Von Benzo), drummer Erik Thyselius, and bassist Dan Svensson. The band was initially formed under the name "Killing Machine" in 1999, and its original drummer was Henry Ranta of Soilwork, but he was replaced after the release of Slaughterhouse Supremacy.

TERROR FOR SALE is the "least serious" of their three records. You can tell that by the song titles . But that's TERROR 2000, take it or leave it. I personally love this kind of albums, with no strings attached, in which the music seems to flow.

Terror 2000 is a quite strange band for a point of view. They passed through the sheer lyrical and musical aggression of their debut to a sort of more controlled thrash metal on the second album to end in a sort of parody on this Terror For Sale album. I think I have an answer to this: they formed this band just to have fun and put out the music they want because I think that with the main bands (Darkane and Soilwork) they had too much pressure on their shoulders and someone always said to them the way to follow
