The Story So Far: The Very Best of Rod Stewart is a 2001 Rod Stewart compilation album, which summarises his solo work beginning with material from his 1971 breakthrough album Every Picture Tells a Story until his 2001 album Human. For contractual reasons, only two songs from his Mercury Records tenure ("Maggie May" and "You Wear It Well") were included (a third song from the Mercury era, "Reason to Believe", was included in a live acoustic version from the Warner Bros.
I remember Rod Stewart in the second part of the 70s with that ballad songs and later comes Do Ya Think I'm sexy today a classic hit. i don't know his sang the classic hit by Gladys Knight, Stevie Wonder, Elton John and Dionne Warwick Thats's what friends are for in the middle 80s. I never watch the movie ye. I bought this because I wanted to have Rod's version of 'Your Song'. It's a great album chock full of hits. Yes i am enjoying this purchase.
