Reaching for Tomorrow is the third album by R&B/funk band Switch that recorded on the Gordy label from the late 1970s. Though they never managed to achieve significant crossover success into the pop singles chart, they were a consistent presence on the R&B charts through the late 1970s with albums such as Switch II from 1979 (their second release), This Is My Dream and Reaching For Tomorrow in 1980. Bobby DeBarge Phillip Ingram DeBarge family DeBarge Jermaine Jackson.
Reaching for Tomorrow is the third album by R&B/funk band Switch that recorded on the Gordy label from the late 1970s. It would be the first of two albums the band released in 1980, preceding the more successful This Is My Dream record. It was recorded at Motown's own studio and partly at James William Guercio's Caribou Ranch studio. While in the midst of recording their third album, the members were facing conflicts with each other, hence, the infamous eclipse symbol in place of a group photo and their logo changing as well.
