Smells Like Children is a remix EP by American rock band Marilyn Manson. It was released on October 24, 1995 in the US through Nothing and Interscope Records. It was produced by the band's frontman and Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails. The release represents an era of the band full of drugs, abuse, tours, sound experiments, and is also a reference to the 1968 musical film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and the book Perfume by Patrick Suskind.

Smells Like Children" is like a messy bedroom: it looks like an absolute pig sty but whoever lives in the room probably knows exactly where everything goes. In this case, this EP comes off as a unorganized mess of bland remixes, mediocre covers, and pointless filler, but Manson probably intended it to be that way for some reason. Tried to deviate a bit from the track by track format, but it still pretty much ended up being that. I feel that I have an unpopular opinion on this EP, but sorry. I feel a remix album is sort of cop outish and the stupid filler tracks didn't help any. demigod! January 12th 2013.
