Piano concertos by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart wrote 23 original concertos for piano and orchestra. These works, many of which Mozart composed for himself to play in the Vienna concert series of 1784–86, held special importance for him. For a long time relatively neglected, they are recognised as among his greatest achievements

The Piano Concerto No. 24 in C minor, K. 491, is a concerto composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart for keyboard (usually a piano or fortepiano) and orchestra. Mozart composed the concerto in the winter of 1785–1786, finishing it on 24 March 1786, three weeks after completing his Piano Concerto No. 23 in A major. As he intended to perform the work himself, Mozart did not write out the soloist's part in full. The premiere was in early April 1786 at the Burgtheater in Vienna

Full Orchestra Full Score. Symphonies Nos. 40 and 41. By Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Full Orchestra Miniature Score. Piano Concertos, Nos 23-27. Full Orchestra Full Score.

Mozart: Piano Concertos Nos. 24-27. Each disc includes a pair of Mozart piano concertos. The music on the first CD, recorded in 1985, has never been released, because, the booklet asserts, post-production work was needed to clean up the acoustics. The second CD includes a 1977 performance featuring the London Philharmonic; it apparently received only a domestic release. The booklet (in English only) offers a nice appreciation of de Larrocha as a Mozart pianist, a field in which she excelled. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Alicia de Larrocha, Georg Solti.
