Semyon Snitkovsky (Rus: Семён Снитковский; August 9, 1933 in Odessa – April 4, 1981 in Moscow) - was a Soviet classical violinist and a professor. Semyon (Semion) Snitkovsky's formal music education began in 1940 at Stolyarsky Music School. After an ensuing hiatus that was brought on by World War II, he was accepted into a class of Veniamin Zinovievich Mordkovich.

Semyon Snitkovsky (August 9, 1933 - April 4, 1981) was born and raised in Odessa, Ukrain (former USSR), a city that in the 20th century gave the world many famous musicians. He has found a rightful place among them as a great performer and a talented pedagogue. Snitkovsky started his musical education in 1940 at the famed school of . Unfortunately, World War II interrupted his studies until 1946, when he was accepted to the class of great pedagogue – violinist, V. Z.
