Fuckmorgue - Dead, I Will Not Be Forgotten .26 1. 2 years ago. Wednesday April 26th at ccafe, Disrotted will be playing in Toronto as their only Canadian date on their up coming tour. IRN will be joining them along with Lurching, who will be doing their first and only performance ever. This album hurts to listen to! Wrenches my face muscles all up. There’s riffs on this thing that you’ll hear once, and they’ll haunt you forever.
Fuckmorgue was an experimental blackened crust/deathrock band with a female vocalist from Winnipeg, Canada This is a re-release of Fuckmorge's 2004 CD "Down Forever", but with the addition of their "lost" instrumental demo that includes violin. Also worth noting that the vocalist went on to sing for the crust band Boneblack, which I included in my first Non-strings Roundup post.
Corpse painted Canuck crusties death-obsessed and hell bent. Aesop Decker (Ludicra, Agalloch, Vhol). That pretty much sums this up as well as I could, it's an interesting LP, dark and desperate at times. Reminds me of bands like SCHIFOSI, GRENZLINIE and maybe even .

Notes
This release compiles all of the tracks from the 2004 self-released CD "Down Forever" and pairs that material with the only other recorded material, a 6 song private instrumental demo recording. On the demo material the band consisted of the core drum/bass/keyboard players who appeared on Down Forever with the addition of a violinist. This archival demo material is presented in mono as is it's original state. All tracks for this release were mastered by Colin Marston (Dysrhythmia, Gorguts, Krallice) at Menegoroth/The Thousand Caves.440 copies on black vinyl plus 111 copies on "Bleak Wasteland" starburst black and white vinyl. 50 copies (this) also include a numbered hand screened print included in the image gallery of the release.
