Save us The human, existence Is failing, resistance Essential, the future Written off, the odds are Astronomically against us Only moron and genius Would fight a losing battle Against the super ego When giving in is so damn comforting. And so we go, on with our lives We know the truth, but prefer lies Lies are simple, simple is bliss Why go against tradition when we can Admit defeat, live in decline Be the victim of our own design The status quo, built on suspect Why would anyone stick out their neck? Fellow members of Club "We've Got Ours" I'd like to introduce you to our.

The Decline is an EP by NOFX. It was released on November 23, 1999. The CD version consisted of only the 18-minute title track, but the vinyl included a different version of "Clams Have Feelings Too" (from Pump Up the Valuum) on the B-side

The Decline is NOFX’s masterpiece; their ‘Master of Puppets’; their ‘Shape of Punk to Come’ – well, almost. The song is essentially a normal album, condensed and compressed in both time and number of songs. While listening to it, it may strike you that it would have been possible to separate ‘The Decline’ into five or six different tracks, but by doing this the song/album/whatever! would have so much less impact. What makes the song work so well is how the different sections segue into the next.

Were these ever sold separately? Or are people listing their boxset versions individually?

And come to think of it, unfortunately, that’s another reason as to why these might have been sold loose from their sets in the first place, sellers attempting to make extra on the whole set by putting them up for sale individually and advertising the “limited” or “special edition” features hoping to get buyers that haven’t researched pressing info or don’t know and might assume it’s an earlier or more special individual edition and pay that extra however much for one separated. Silly really, because splitting some up is only increasing the value of those still complete sets.

I bet they are, and perhaps by mistake here. I have come across many of the gold pressing 7” releases individually on eBay. (The ones released together in the standard editoion of the 126 inches of NOFX box set) Not sure why there’s so many separated, maybe some collectors selling off releases they didn’t like but that’s just one possibility. Especially since the year on this was marked as unknown or blank, I’m guessing someone bought a loose Decline from the box set you’re mentioning and listed it.

Does anyone have a copy with a download code? That means this is a new release because I do not believe in 99 they sold it with a download code..

Yes I would love to buy one of these but it never sells for more then 120-150 both listed on here are overpriced

It's a pity they didn't release it on clear (and there was no need for art on the flip side so I don't know why they didn't), but it's great to own my second favourite NOFX release on vinyl at last. The sleeve is utterly useless though, for the price they could and should have made more effort.

Ugly as hell.

so they made a clear 12" this is rerferred to as a picture disc?? whats the difference..second "picture disc Ive gotten this year that has been on black ...clear would have suited better. They also only released pic after it was sold.

mockup w/ the clear looked a lot better
