I have 2 versions, with slightly different back covers. Also one has a Valencia st/SF address and the other has a Berkeley address. I assume the one with the Valencia st/SF address is a repress? Anyone more info on this?

I have two different versions as well. One pressing uses glossy paper for the cover and insert. Even the labels look shinier. The cover folds evenly. The insert uses the window light drawing Subterranean logo at the bottom and is the Berkeley address. The most noticeable thing is the lipstick marks on the back cover, label and insert. My other copy doesn't use glossy paper. Cover doesn't fold evenly (the back cover doesn't fold to reach the top front all the way. No logo on the bottom of the insert but still has the Berkeley address but typed out. No kisses on this version. I can assume both pressings are early (re: The Berkeley address)

We moved the label into a storefront on Valencia St. in early 1982, so that's why the address change.

Subterranean Records was the first label I really flipped over and began to "follow." I tried to get anything I could on Subterranean. I remember sending off $2(!) for this comp and instead got a note telling me it had just run out of stock. DOH! Years later I tracked one down deep in the Congo (or maybe at a record store) and it was worth the wait.Four bands, four songs. All hot, no drag. No Alternative, Flipper, Tools and VKTMS! it is hard to pick a favorite but I am leaning toward the VKTMS awesome "Ballad Of Pincushion Smith."
