How Are You" is the seventh track on the album, Think Visual, released by The Kinks in 1986. It was written by Ray Davies. The initial demo of "How Are You" was recorded in January 1986 at Konk Studios. Ray Davies liked his vocals on the demo so much that he transferred the vocals from the demo to Konk Studios' 24-track machine. He then worked on the instrumental to center around the demo's vocal.

The Kinks Album Guide. An overview of one of rock & roll’s most gloriously weird songbooks. Further Listening: The Great Lost Kinks Album (1973). Impossible to find for many years, this became a koveted kollector’s item for kultists. When the band switched record companies, their old label punished them by rushing out this ragbag of unreleased treasures: the Dave ballad There Is No Life Without Love, the wistful Rosemary Rose, the proto-punk rant I’m Not Like Everybody Else. Plus a send-up of English anti-Semitism called When I Turn Off The Living Room Light. Keeper Kuts: Long Distance on State of Confusion (1983). How zany was the music biz in the early Eighties? Long Distance was a bonus track on the album-but only on the cassette version.
Lost and Found (The Kinks song). Lost and Found" is the second track from Think Visual, a 1986 album by The Kinks. It was written by The Kinks' primary songwriter, Ray Davies. The lyrics of "Lost and Found" describe a New York City couple who lost each other when a hurricane is about to hit the area. We're near the eye of the storm," the singer sings. This is really heavy weather
