Suits (1994) is the fourth solo album by former Marillion singer Fish, and his third studio album with original material (discounting 1993's cover project Songs from the Mirror). It is the first album to be released on Fish's new own label, the Dick Bros Record Company, which he set up after being dropped by Polydor. The album continues the cooperation with producer James Cassidy who had already produced Songs from the Mirror

Fish released Suits in 1994, and unlike the album from the previous year, Songs from the Mirror, all the songs were new. The band remained the same, with Frank Usher and Robin Boult on guitar, David Paton on bass guitar and backing vocals, Foss Paterson on keyboards, and Kevin Wilkinson on drums and percussion. The album had been a long time in conception, and before recording and releasing took place, some of the material was "tested" on a live audience during the Outpatients Tour. This was also the first release on Fish's own record label, The Dick Bros Record Company
Fish hit a rich creative seam with Suits, he was embracing the musical zeitgeist – the production, the arrangement, the tone – but age has not withered its magic, which you don’t often get to say about an album released in the 1990s. You’d be hard pushed to describe a Fish album as upbeat, but this sounds like a record of high end pop songs juxtaposed with the downbeat end to the essay that accompanies it; poorly attended shows, family woes, times of trouble looming up ahead like clouds crowding the horizon. This only adds to its irresistible charm, one final splash of colour to enjoy before the crash.
