Run" is a song by American rock band Foo Fighters. It was released as a single on June 1, 2017, and is off their ninth studio album, Concrete and Gold. The song performed well commercially and critically, topping the Billboard US Mainstream Rock Songs chart. Run" became the first new Foo Fighters' song since the release of the free "Saint Cecilia" EP in late 2015. They wrote the song in early 2017 preparing for a European festival. At the Kevin & Bean Show on June 1, 2017, frontman Dave Grohl said: Foo Fighters found an unlikely collaborator: producer Greg Kurstin, who previously worked with Sia and Adele. Grohl admitted that he couldn't even walk when he wrote "Run," "There's some catharsis there that I get to scream my brains ou. He stated that he is a huge fan of old-school thrash metal, so he was excited to have a song that's probably the heaviest thing they've ever recorded. Bassist Nate Mendel said that "Run" got a reggaetón beat, and they didn't realize it.

Foo Fighters have returned with a new single 'Run', releasing an epic video directed by frontman Dave Grohl.
