Jerry Reed was also a good singer and songwriter. his place in music history is secure. this is a good collection with some of his best work. worth the price of admission just for Mr. One person found this helpful. The Hot A Mighty is mostly cover songs done in the totally unique Jerry Reed style. Songs like Goodnight Irene, Sweet Memories and Sixteen Tons sound nothing like the originals. There is even a Chuck Berry Medley. The Lord Mr. Ford album I think is better. With the title song Lord Mr. Ford being a big hit. And there are also covers of Folsom Prison Bleus and That Lucky Old Sun on it.
