Cisneros said that there was "about a year and half of legal wrangling between their managers and lawyers at Earache" and that Earache owner Digby Pearson "waited to make the most prime conditions for himself before he let. contract. Dopesmoker is an album by the stoner/doom metal band Sleep. Consisting of a single song an hour and three minutes long, it was originally recorded in 1996, but due to legal issues the album was trimmed down about ten mintutes. It was then released in 1999 as Jerusalem after being separated into six separate tracks. The full 63:31 track was not released until 2003, along with a live version of the song "Sonic Titan.
