No More Heroes is the second studio album by English new wave band the Stranglers. It was released on 23 September 1977, through record label United Artists, five months after their debut album, Rattus Norvegicus. No More Heroes was produced by Martin Rushent. The album consists of new material with three songs left over from the Rattus Norvegicus sessions ("Something Better Change", "Bitching" and "Peasant in the Big Shitty").

Авторы текста и музыки. Black J, Dave Greenfield, Hugh Cornwell, JeanJacques Burnel. Something Better Change (1996 Remaster). WMG; ASCAP, UBEM, UMPI, LatinAutor, LatinAutor - UMPG, UMPG Publishing" и другие авторские общества (4). Композиция. 100 Hits - Driving Rock.

No more heroes any more No more heroes any more. The album’s eponymous track and one of The Strangler’s better known tunes, No More Heroes is a musing on the state of the world and it’s leaders. Various figures in world history are mentioned in the song, whom some demographics may consider heroes.

Album: No More Heroes (1977). Charted: 8. Get the Sheet Music License This Song. Cornwell: "When No More Heroes came out, we refused to sign autographs because we were saying, "Don't have heroes. The people in No More Heroes are anti-heroes really. More songs from The Stranglers. More songs about political figures. More songs from 1977.

Rattus Norvegicus, the Stranglers' first album (and first of two in 1977), was hardly a punk rock classic, but it outsold every other punk album and remains a pretty good chunk of art-punk. On the other hand, No More Heroes, recorded three months later and released in September 1977, is faster, nastier, and better. At this point the Stranglers were on top of their game, and the ferocity and anger that suffuses this record would never be repeated.
