String Quartet No. 7 (1950). German rock band Scorpions did a cover of Kōjō no Tsuki on the 1978 album Tokyo Tapes. Argentinean folk group Los Cantores de Quilla Huasi recorded a version of "Kojo no Tsuki". Anne Akiko Meyers recorded several versions of "Kojo No Tsuki". Kosaku Yamada was a Japanese composer and conductor. Name - In many Western reference books his name is given as Kôsçak Yamada.

Tomojirō Ikenouchi (池内 友次郎 Ikenouchi Tomojirō, October 21, 1906 – March 9, 1991) was a Japanese composer of contemporary classical music and professor. He received several prizes for his compositions, including the Eighth Mainichi Music Prize in 1957 for String Quartet, which he had written while studying abroad, and Sixteenth Otaka Prize and the Twenty-first National Art Festival Award in 1968 for his Piano Concerto (1964–1967) which was commissioned by NHK.
