Fear Before (formerly known as Fear Before the March of Flames) is an experimental rock band that resides in Aurora, Colorado. As stated on their Alternative Press podcast, their name originates from a Denver Post newspaper headline about the 2002 Hayman fire titled "The Fear Before The March of Flames

Fear Before is the fourth and final full-length album by the experimental rock band, Fear Before. The album was released on October 28, 2008, by Equal Vision Records and was produced by Casey Bates and recorded at Johnny Cab Studios and London Bridge studio in Seattle. This is the first album on which they do not use their former name "Fear Before the March of Flames".

But what is The Always Open Mouth? According to Fisher, it refers to people who dismiss others for their various beliefs, theories, and stances. There is always someone who is going to tell you you're wrong, and they usually think they have it 100% figured out, when the reality is no one has anything 100% figured out. If they think they do, they are either a): an all-knowing superbeing from another realm sent here to save us all or b): a fucking loud mouth bigot. They are The Always Open Mouth. But what is The Always Open Mouth? According to Fisher, it refers to people who dismiss others for their various beliefs, theories, and stances.

Always Open Mouth" opens with the heavenly acoustic strums and warm crooning of "Absolute Future," a dreamy and docile ballad that sounds akin to Opeth. But most of the record is a much different story.
