Consisting of vocalist Nico Webers, guitarists Simon Hawemann and Daniel Oberländer, bassist Filip Hantusch, and drummer Paule Seidel, the band is noted for a distinct musical style consisting of infusing many different genres into their songs, such as math metal, death metal, and jazz.
Transmetropolitan is the debut album by German metal band War from a Harlots Mouth. It was released in Germany on September 18, 2007 and released worldwide on November 21, 2008 through Lifeforce Records. It is the last release with vocalist Steffan Winopal. War from a Harlots Mouth is a German math metal band, formed at the end of 2005 in Berlin. As of the end of 2013, they are on indefinite hiatus. After releasing their first EP, Falling Upstairs through Yehonala Tapes in 2006, and later a split-CD with Molotov Solution on Twelve Gauge Records in 2006, the quintet signed to Lifeforce Records for the release of their full length debut album Transmetropolitan in 2007.
