Herman's Hermits (sometimes called Introducing Herman's Hermits) is the debut album of the band Herman's Hermits, first issued in 1965. As was typical of the time, the album's contents were different on the UK and US releases. UK albums did not have any singles included. The success of Herman's Hermits first single, "I'm into Something Good", in the UK and on the US Billboard Hot 100, led to a US release of their first album in February, 1965.
Seeing the old man sitting there for a long time, the speaker went to him and asked him where he came from. The old man answered that he was coming from San Carlos, his native town, twelve kilometers away from there. The man smiled as it was a pleasure to him to mention his native land. Then the speaker had a chat with that man and came to know that the seventy-six years old man had no one but pets - two goats, a cat and eight pigeons. They were his family and he spent his time looking after the animals. Now that the enemy forces were approaching, he was asked to leave the place
The old man's hometown of San Carlos is being evacuated because of artillery fire, and he sits at the roadside before the bridge crossing, too tired to walk. The soldier, while anticipating contact with the enemy, expresses concern about the man's safety and encourages him to continue moving. The old man, on the other hand, is not concerned about himself but worries about the animals he left behind. The old man tells the soldier that he was forced to leave behind two goats, one cat, and four pairs of doves. The old man admits that "there is no need to be unquiet" about the welfare of a clever cat, and also confirms that he left the dove cage unlocked-the birds will certainly fly to safety. It is the fate of "the others"-the two goats-that he laments. The old man is very much like the goats he left in harm's way, since they have nowhere to go and cannot take care of themselves.
The old man eventually succeeds, then fails, and then wins again. It's the story of perseverance and the machismo of the old man against the elements. This slim novella - it's only 127 pages - helped to revive Hemingway's reputation as a writer, winning him great acclaim, including the Nobel Prize for literature. Santiago is an old man and a fisherman who has gone for months without catching a fish. Many are starting to doubt his abilities as an angler. Even his apprentice, Manolin, has abandoned him and gone to work for a more prosperous boat
The Old Man and the Sea is a short novel written by the American author Ernest Hemingway in 1951 in Cuba, and published in 1952. It was the last major work of fiction by Hemingway that was published during his lifetime. One of his most famous works, it tells the story of Santiago, an aging Cuban fisherman who struggles with a giant marlin far out in the Gulf Stream off the coast of Cuba.

He got the sport news from the old newspaper which were brought to him by the Boy. Manolin loves Santiago because he thought him how to fish. He loved him for many different reasons and one of them was that Santiago treated him as a grown up. The boy was careful about not hurting Santiago’s feelings. He would bring him some food from the hotel but always tried to keep his pride because Santiago was still a man who looked after his fisherman lifestyle even though he had almost nothing. The boy stayed with him even though his parents forbid him to do that
Billy was four years old, and he was a very bad boy. Everyday after lunch his mother took him to his bedroom and put him on his bed to rest for an hour, but Billy never slept and usually he made a lot of noise and got off his bed every few minutes. One afternoon, Billy's mother put him on his bed and then went to her bedroom to do some sewing. So the captain turned and started to go back. Then the old lady looked out from under the" blanket with one eye and said, 'I am sorry, young man, but I don't like aeroplanes and I am never going to fly again
