Complete your France Gall collection. This record was released January the 6th, 1976. The year 1975 is a mistake. Some of the songs like La Declaration D'Amour was released in 1974, but the whole album is from January 1976. I have tried t correct it but I have failed. Reply Notify me Helpful.

France Gall (born Isabelle Geneviève Marie Anne Gall on 9 October 1947 in Paris, France) is a popular French yé-yé singer. Gall was married to, and had a successful singing career in partnership with, French singer-songwriter Michel Hamburger, whose stage name is Michel Berger. Gall's father was lyricist Robert Gall, and her mother, Cécile Berthier, was the daughter of Paul Berthier, co-founder of Petits Chanteurs à la Croix de Bois.

Born Isabelle Gall in Paris on October 9, 1947, Gall was the daughter of French performer and producer Roger Gall, who had written songs for Édith Piaf and Charles Aznavour. In 1962, at the age of 15, Gall was ushered into the studio by her father to record her debut EP, Ne Sois Pas Si Bete. No longer a teenager, but without a new persona to redefine herself (and without the help of Gainsbourg, whose time was taken by his own albums and those of his wife, Jane Birkin), Gall floundered both commercially and artistically. France Gall died of cancer on January 7, 2018 at the age of 70. ~ Stewart Mason.

France Gall was a great (and iconic) yé-yé pop singer from the early sixties. She gained worldwide fame when she won the 1965 Eurovision Song Festival with the infectious Serge Gainsbourg penned song Poupée de Cire, Poupée de Son. I saw that show when I was a kid, and that song never left my consciousness. I liked this album a lot. Though France Gall doesn't have a strong voice, she does a good job of providing some interesting singing. She was one of the "Ye-Ye" girls of the 1960's. The "Ye-Ye Girls" were not rockers like a Nancy Sinatra or even Lesley Gore. They didn't pretend to be singers, but mostly good looking girls who tried to vocalize
