Almost Acoustic Christmas is an annual concert run by the Los Angeles radio station KROQ-FM. The first show was held in December 1989, though then it was simply called the KROQ Xmas Bash. In 1990 the show became bigger and attracted increasingly popular alternative rock bands and singers.

This is a best of live compilation from KROQ's Acoustic Christmas (in New York) throughout the years. Only half of the songs are acoustic though, nor are there any Christmas songs on here either (incase you wondered). The slip on the inside of the CD features pictures of all of the concert posters for the 10 years that the Acoustic Christmas has been held. It's a very fast paced song complete with electric guitars.

This year we assembled a lineup that has something for everyone, whether it's perennial powerhouses like the Smashing Pumpkins, Third Eye Blind, and Thirty Seconds To Mars, punk bands like Bad Religion and AFI, or up-and-comers like The Interrupters, AJR and Greta Van Fleet.
