It is noteworthy for being the first Ministry album not to feature bassist and longtime collaborator Paul Barker since Twitch (1986). It was also the first album to feature Mike Scaccia on guitar since 1996's Filth Pig. The album is the first part of the band's anti-Bush trilogy, followed by Rio Grande Blood (2006) and The Last Sucker (2007)
Tracks 10-22 and 24-68 are blank tracks between 3 and 4 seconds. Tracks 23 and 69 are not listed in the tracklist.

Without doubt, the best thing Ministry have done since "Psalm 69". It's not perfect, the first five songs are angry, fast and intense, but the rest of the album does, unfortunately, descend into the turgid guitar-heavy mess of their last few albums. But that's better than nothing.

This later pressing of the album has the remixed "No W" as first song and "Bloodlines" as bonus track. The Carmina Burana samples have disappeared from the CD, probably because of legal issues.The early pressing of the album has the song "No W" complete with Carmina Burana samples in it, and the bonus track "Psalm 23" is a remixed version of "No W" itself, without the samples.
