Screen Memories is the fourth studio album by American musician John Maus, released on October 27, 2017. The album was his first set of newly-recorded music since We Must Become the Pitiless Censors of Ourselves (2011). Recorded in two years at his Austin, Minnesota home, most of the its subject matter concerns apocalyptic themes inspired by the newsfeed of world events he garnered while making the LP.
Bandmates Sascha Konietzko and En Esch began working together again after splitting up during the recording of their previous album, Money. Konietzko had moved to Seattle in 1993, while Esch had moved to New Orleans, Louisiana.

Like The One, Memorie. o Not Open is a shell of what The Chainsmokers used to be. And it unfortunately doesn’t stop at the first track. After listening to all the new tracks on the album, a good seven out of nine of them sound like different versions of Roses. If you’re unhappy with how similar Something Just Like This was, Bloodstream will probably be a let down.
Taylor Swift, Red Red is the album that all Swift's subsequent releases must be measured against. She never needed to make an official announcement about leaving country for pop; on Red, she straddled both with ease.
