Sven produced his first time darkwave-music with his aka DAMION IN THE CASKET in 1999. The result was the demo-album "Leiden schafft". Later he also released "Der Traum im Gedanken" and "Danach". After this, since 2002 Sven waived his aka and just used his surname. In 2005 the first big changes reached REBENTISCH. Jürgen Lilke founded the record-label Gruftie-Ton just for future releases of REBENTISCH.

Bandmates Sascha Konietzko and En Esch began working together again after splitting up during the recording of their previous album, Money. Konietzko had moved to Seattle in 1993, while Esch had moved to New Orleans, Louisiana
