An extended play record, often referred to as an EP, is a musical recording that contains more tracks than a single, but is usually unqualified as an album or LP. Contemporary EPs generally contain a minimum of three tracks and maximum of six tracks, and are considered "less expensive and time-consuming" for an artist to produce than an album.

Karmacoda's EP, Kindred - Connected Remixes features high energy dance remixes of their song Kindred from the 2018 album Intimate. Genre: Electronic: Dance. Fusing elements of electronica, rock and pop with a danceable groove, Karmacoda creates music that is modern yet deeply moving and emotional. Central themes of transformation: love, loss, lust and longing show up as story lines in their songs, pulling instrumental inspiration from a myriad of musical genres and time periods

Karmacoda Lacing elements of electronica, rock, pop and jazz through a danceable groove, San Francisco's Karmacoda emit a hybrid sound that is both modern and emotional. To expose a more personal side is what the band set out to do with Eternal, their fourth studio album. So happy we've had a chance to revisit our work with this sweet collection of remixes.

Karmacoda enlist a little help from their friends, putting to use talents from the West Coast's rich music scene, including Beth Hirsch (of Air Moon Safari fame) and Anji Bee (Lovespirals) who join vocalists B. and Heather Pierce on the chillout concept tune, Love Will Turn Your Head Around, prompting Glide. com to deem it, "the gem of the album; dark, languid, and teasingly dangerous". It's been over a decade since co-founders B. (Brett Crockett) and Heather Pierce met in the lobby of their vocal coach's studio

On their 2011 album, released ten years after their debut, Karmacoda demonstrate that they've become stalwarts of their own particular scene, inspired into existence by trip-hop and finding their own easygoing way around downtempo music inspired by Massive Attack's slow mood-out crawls. If the opening duet "If You Give It to Me (Our Summer of Love)" feels like a riff on "Safe from Harm," via the kind of duets that the group the Sky Cries Mary used to specialize in, it's all done elegantly well.
