The Long Ryders are an American alternative country and Paisley Underground band, principally active between 1983 and 1987, who have periodically regrouped for brief reunions (2004, 2009, 2016). In 2019 they released a brand new album and announced a series of tour dates to follow. The Long Ryders were originally formed by several American musicians who were each ts and influenced by Gram Parsons, The Byrds and various country and punk rock groups.

The Long Ryders, with bands such as The Bangles and The Three O' Clock, were key players in the Paisley Underground, a musical movement from the mid-1980s, combining the chiming folk rock of the 1960s with a psychedelic bent and a bit of punk attitude. This presentation finds frontman Sid Griffin and his band performing at the Roxy in Los Angeles in February of 1986. We don't have any crew added to this movie.

The Long Ryders were formed in Los Angeles in 1982 by young American musicians influenced by Gram Parsons and the Byrds, with country and punk rock influences wedded together to create the Alt-country of today. The Long Ryders were formed Thanksgiving 1981 in west Los Angeles, California.
