Phyllis Dillon OD (27 December 1944 – 15 April 2004) was a Jamaican rocksteady and reggae singer who recorded for Duke Reid's lucrative Treasure Isle record label in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Dillon was born in 1944 in Linstead, St. Catherine, Jamaica, and attended the Linstead Primary School. Influenced by American singers Connie Francis, Patti Page (citation needed) and Dionne Warwick, she began singing in talent contests.

Confession is the second album released by the American nu metal band Ill Niño. The album debuted at in the Billboard Top 200 with first week sales of 27,863. It has been their most successful album to date. It was the last album to feature Marc Rizzo, who left during recording to join Soulfly, and also the first to feature Ahrue Luster, formerly of Machine Head. All lyrics written by Cristian Machado.

Tommy McCook - When Something Is Wrong 11. Tommy McCook - Scatterlight Rock One of the rarest, and greatest, horn instrumental dub albums of the seventies featuring the soaring saxophone of Tommy McCook in combination with Glen Brown, ‘The Rhythm Master’, is finally given a legitimate release.

Hopeton Lewis (Take 3). Phyllis Dillon. Somewhere at the end of 1996 guitarist Lyn Taitt heard Phyllis Dillon singing with the group The Vulcans. He was impressed of her vocal qualities and invited her to come over for an audition at 33, Bond Street, the famous Treasure Isle Recording studio run by Duke Reid. Very soon she recorded her first record for Duke Reid, Don’t Stay Away, in late 1966, a recording that has been described as perhaps the finest female performance in Jamaican music. The reissue of the album is augmented by Dillon’s most popular rock steady and reggae recordings for Reid’s Treasure Isle Records. The original 12 track album One Life To Live mainly contains covers of pop, soul and reggae tunes. There’s Stephen Still’s Love The One You’re With, followed by Bob Marley’s Long Time aka Nice Time. The latter is transformed into a jumpy soca-a-like tune.
