The Arista Years is a compilation album that chronicles the Grateful Dead's studio and live albums during their time with Arista Records. The album was released on two-CD and two cassette tapes on October 15, 1996.

The first Grateful Dead LP on the Arista label released in July 1977. An expanded version of the album, with mainly additional studio music, was released in the Beyond Description box set in 2004 and as a single CD in 2006. The second Arista album was released in November 1978. Shakedown Street was the last Grateful Dead studio album to include Keith and Donna Jean Godchaux  . The DVD contains live and archival footage of the band.
