The musical selections are really for everyone to enjoy - those who are familiar with bagpipe band performances either in parades or in grade three or two competitions. This is a nice grouping of medleys, marches, strathpeys, reels, hornpipe all played by the same un-named bagpipe band (I couldn't find the title of the band). My personal preference would be for more pipe and drum only, without other instrumentation, but that's just me. If I want to hear something other than pipes, there are millions of other albums out there.
