Scotland the Brave" (Scottish Gaelic: Alba an Àigh) is a Scottish patriotic song. It is one of several songs often considered an unofficial Scottish "national" anthem (others being "Flower of Scotland" and "Scots Wha Hae"). The tune was first played probably about the beginning of the 20th century, and at that time was known sometimes as "Scotland the Brave!!!" The earliest known version of the song appeared in 1911.
I have decided to keep the theme of the Kings of Scotland. I will start with Robert Stewart II King of Scotland, my 17th Great Grandfather jorie Bruce and Walter Stewart 6th High Steward of Scotland. He was the first Stewart King. He was born 2 March 1316 in Paisley Abbey,Renfrewshire and died 19 April 1390 at Dundonald Castle, Aryshire. He reigned as King of Scots from 1371 to his death as the first monarch of the House of Stewart.
