Album: Lateralus (2001). Get the Sheet Music License This Song. Nick from Denver, CoA few weeks after I first got the album, I read a short book about Tool which was published in PDF format, and can be found at ww. anillacircus. It said that Lateralus, Disposition, and Reflection were originally written and performed as one song, but were broken into parts for easier digestiblity on the album. Keeping this in mind, I listened to the song in in it's entirety, and was blown away. Taken together, the songs act as a diary of one man's(it doesn't matter who) spiritual journey.

Having read poor reviews for the sound quality of the picture-disc version of this album, I thought I would try this unofficial release. This bootleg pressing sounds like trash (I wish I had saved my money and paid attention to the review by fjosh below). Sounds like a poorly encoded MP3 file, reminiscent of the days of limewire. Completely unlistenable - I turned this off immediately. Do yourself a favour and plug in your iPod instead.

This sounds like it was sourced from a mediumish bitrate lossy codec. I could pick it out from the HDCD blind 100% of the time, money on the table. Unfortunate but I'll keep going through the different bootlegs until I find one that sounds good.

Does this sound better compared to the picture disk? I'm thinking about grabbing it.

Why is this press not listed among all the other Lateralus albums? Just purchased this. The catalog # pulls it up on Discogs, but it's listed separately from all the other Lateralus albums?
