Cornerstone is a music studio album recording by STYX (Prog Related/Progressive Rock) released in 1979 on cd, lp, vinyl and/or cassette.
It was the lead single from the band's 1979 triple-platinum album Cornerstone. Cornerstone, Styx's third straight triple platinum selling album, peaking at on the Billboard chart, was Styx's only album to earn a Grammy nomination for "Best Album of the Year" and produce a Billboard Hot 100 Single (Babe). In 2004, Styx performed a cover of the Beatles song "I Am the Walrus" at Eric Clapton's Crossroads Festival, where the song was received so well that it was released as a single, reaching the Top 10 in the Mediabase Classic Rock charts. The video featured original bassist Chuck Panozzo as the "eggman".
