Nice record, this one. Splinter is a rather fast paced breakcore track (about 240 bpm) that mixes well. It's just frantic drums in the beginning, which makes it fun to play with, and then it breaks and a subdued sounding synth part comes in. A good track for bridging the gap between something really high energy to something a bit more "IDM". And on the A-side, The Dead Key is kind of a weird, haunting passage with a voice floating around saying something about "the problem with these people is... their cities have never been burned and their mothers have never been told to shut up". Pick it up if you see it. Definitely something different, and fairly versatile.
