Bloodrock was an American rock band based in Fort Worth, Texas that had considerable success in the 1970s. The band was one of the earliest of a number of noteworthy bands to emerge from the Fort Worth club and music scene during the early to mid-1970s. Bloodrock initially formed in Fort Worth in 1963, under the name The Naturals.
The cover art was designed by producer Terry Knight. The song "Gotta Find a Way" contains the backmasked message, "Anyone who is stupid enough to play this record backwards deserves what he is about to hear," followed by an excerpt from the poem "Jabberwocky". Lee Pickens - lead guitar, backing vocals. Nick Taylor - rhythm guitar, backing vocals.
Bloodrock – Bloodrock. Format: Vinyl, LP, Album. I'd really like to thank Bloodrock for taking the time to make this one. It's real psychedelic and heavy in the best sense. They either made a great piece of art, or really had something to get off their chest.
