Roger Troutman album). is the second solo album recorded by funk musician Roger Troutman, released in 1984 on the Warner Bros.
Very under appreciated album by Roger Troutman. This is a great album for collectors of the funk. Play That Guitar" is a quick and easy way to get your party gettin' funky real quick. T C Song" is one when for you and that special someone are trying to get loose with ya goose.
Roger Troutman’s The Saga Continues is a unique, creative record which merges classic Funk sweet melodies style with the dancing attitudes exploding in 1984 (as in The Break Song, once of the best tracks Roger ever recorded). His vocoder or talk box gives great effects on a sizzling, squealing version of Wilson Pickett’s In the Midnight Hour, accompanied by the Mighty Clouds of Joy. A bouncy and great combination of new funk and old School rap gets high levels on In The Mix, which soared to R&B charts in 1984 . While a solo album, the lineup remains the same as on the Zapp releases, the musical approach remains the same. The Saga Continues is a must for all Black Music lovers.
Unique, creative, and the consummate showman, are only a few of the adjectives you could use to describe The Saga Continues. Roger uses his vocoder or talk box to great effects on a sizzling, squealing version of Wilson Pickett's "In the Midnight Hour," accompanied by the Mighty Clouds of Joy. A bouncy "In The Mix" soared to R&B in 1984. Ex-Ohio Players' keyboardist, Billy Beck helps on keyboards, and Maceo Parker adds his usual awesome sax outbursts

The Saga Continues is a compilation album by Wu-Tang Clan, produced by long-time producer Mathematics released on October 13, 2017 on eOne. The album was mixed by Josh Gannet. The group name was shortened to "Wu-Tang" to mark the fact that the album features all Wu-Tang Clan members except U-God due to his legal. issues with the group over royalties. It also features guest appearance from Streetlife, Redman, Sean Price and others. So he was really given the task and he took the task upon himself to go and start having the members re-energize their verses to the classic Wu-Tang sound. After he got it to a certain degree, he was like, I’m going to come over and show you where we’re at. He showed me and I was like, Yo, The Saga Continues".
