Hop Along is an American indie rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States, formerly known as Hop Along, Queen Ansleis. Hop Along began as an acoustic freak folk solo project known as Hop Along, Queen Ansleis in 2004, during Frances Quinlan's senior year in high school. This led to the release of the album Freshman Year in the summer of 2005. Quinlan performed an acoustic solo act for several years as she honed her style.

Hop Along was originally known as Hop Along, Queen Ansleis, and was formed in 2004 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Hop Along originated with one member, Frances Quinlan. In 2006, she released a little album called Freshman Year, that introduced the world to her folky storytelling, consisting of stories that sound more like diary anecdotes in the form of witty lyrics. Her unique vocal drawl, catchy songwriting, and penchant for creating unique music (both instrumentally and lyrically) made for an amazing album. It was a very modest effort, and sounds more like a personal recording than a formal.

Something's Wrong is a compilation album of studio recordings and unreleased live tracks by Violent Femmes in 2001. Tracks 1 and 3-12 are studio recordings from 1995-1997. Some songs are alternate versions of previously released songs. Tracks 16-22 are live recordings selected from the 1999 Viva Wisconsin sessions.
