Exploring distrust, loyalty, death, passion, memory, and excess in the span of nine songs, this album certainly runs the emotional gamut. Changes in mood are echoed by sea changes in volume and dynamics, Austin's high-pitched scream yielding to a breathy, near-silent spoken whisper in the space of a few measures.

"Aquatic" is the jam here... bleeps & bass BOMB with strong pre-95 Detroit/Euro techno influences."Moby Dick" is in a somewhat similar (albeit deeper) vein, but is far less memorable. The A-side should be more familiar to fans of Relief's signature quirky, energetic tech house style, but "Aquatic" is definitely miles ahead of the other tracks here.

Guys, guys guys... please step back from the ledge on this one. Check out Señor Lopez' other work that is better than this. I'll come clean and admit being a tad salty because I traded this a few years ago, ha, but I hung onto it for years because it was a Relief promo, not because I actually liked it. Certainly NOT worth anywhere close to $30, let alone $60. Just my two ducats.
