For his second album, sax man Fredrik Nordström teams with longtime friend and drummer Fredrik Rundqvist and legendary Swedish bassist Palle Danielsson for a live set at the Glenn Miller Café in Stockholm. Whereas his debut, Urgency, contained nothing but Nordström originals, this program is nothing but standards, shifting the spotlight to his improvising and interpretive abilities rather than compositions. Palle Danielsson's resumé (Keith Jarrett, Charles Lloyd, Lee Konitz) speaks for itself, but people unfamiliar with Nordström and Rundqvist will be impressed with their musicianship
