Horo-a Jazz Portrait Import. HORO records was until 1979 one of the most adventurous and original jazz labels in Italy, founded by Aldo Sinesio in 1972. He recorded some of the best national and international jazz of the time, often in the series "Jazz a Confronto" (Jazz in comparison) with musicians as Giorgio Gaslini, Sun Ra, Enrico Rava, David Murray, Freddie Hubbard, just to name a few. Because the recordings are almost impossible to acquire nowadays, the release of this collection is an important event and the tracks are extremely well chosen.
