2preciious was a Canadian alternative rock band featuring Lee Aaron. Aaron was increasingly disillusioned with big label mainstream rock music, feeling that the "Metal Queen" image of her earlier albums was now part of her past and that it was time to move in a new direction. In early 1994 she met with Don Short and Don Binns of the Canadian band Sons of Freedom, who participated in the recording of Aaron's 1994 album Emotional Rain
Unfortunately Lee Aaron is sitting in that same camp with the liner notes to "Emotional Rain" stating, . .it marked an end of an era, musically, culturally and personally. Big hair, pointy guitar rock had finally been ousted. Here's the thing though, unlike some of the other bands that tried to go grunge, Lee manages to pull off an enjoyable and honest album. Emotional Rain" manages to cull a large amount of groove in the songs that rock. Songs like "Odds of Love", "Judgement Day" and "Waterfall" are all examples of this groove. Other songs such as "Fire in Your Flame" actually still sound planted in the 80's sound.
Aaron's debut 1982 album The Lee Aaron Project on Freedom Records (later reissued on Attic) featured a who's who of the Toronto music scene, with members of Moxy, Riff Raff, Santers, and Triumph's Rik Emmett. In 2002, Aaron was approached to audition with the Modern Baroque Opera Company Her eleventh album, Beautiful Things, a pop-jazz hybrid, was released in 2004. Lee Aaron continues to play both rock and selected jazz shows
