The b side is the burner. I’m still searching is just great. Recommend by this track.

The 12" of this is still mt favourite Visage tune. By then I was into the whole New Romantic wearing 'unusual' clothes clubbing lifestyle whereas when Fade To Gray etc was out I was still at school and too young to be doing all that so Night Train resonates in a special way for me - I only have to hear this and 'Instinction' and 'Toys' by Spandau Ballet and 'The Chauffeur' by Duran Duran for to be back my bedroom in the summer of 1982 getting ready for Saturday night - I can almost smell the Cossack hairspray.

Oh and obviously I'm obviously talking about the 12" mix (what sort of New Romantic bought 7inchers anyway;-)) and this is how to make a completely exciting extended mix - a top top tune in every way and as the other commenter said the b-side is very very good too.

"I'm Still Searching", the b-side, is the real reason to own this single in my opinion. "Night Train" is a good Visage track but "I'm Still searching" is a beat heavy, atmospheric, completely electronic dance track with this haunting bittersweet feeling to it you can't get out of your head after listening to. I love Visage's first two albums and associated singles and this the b-side here is one of the definite high points of their career. I managed to pick up the 7" pic disc for less than 5$ at a used record store and worth every last cent and then some just to have "I'm Still Searching" finally on vinyl.

Would you believe I have the 12" single and I never even thought to play that track!I can only assume that I listened to the mess that is the dub of Night Train then ripped the 12" off the turntable before playing "I'm Still Searching".Well, I've just listened to it and I want to thank you for the tip. What a track, right up there with the best Visage. This SHOULD have been on The Anvil. So dark, so moody, so cool.Cheers!
