Continuous Play - Full Album - This is the first live album by the group It was recorded in September of 1981 at a free benefit concert in Central Park, New York City, where the pair performed in front of more than 500,000 people.

Collected Works is the first box set released by Simon & Garfunkel in 1981. It contains all five of their albums: Wednesday Morning, 3 . Sounds of Silence, Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme, Bookends, and Bridge over Troubled Water. Originally released in 1981 as a 5-LP box set, it was reissued as a 3-CD set in 1990. The collection was succeeded in 2001 by The Columbia Studio Recordings (1964–1970), which includes several bonus tracks in addition to the original album contents.

The most comprehensive 12" vinyl Simon & Garfunkel anthology ever assembled, The Complete Columbia Albums Collection includes the duo's five Columbia Records studio masterpieces (first released between 1964 and 1970) as well as Simon and Garfunkel's Greatest Hits, their all-time best-selling title. Originally released in June 1972, two years after the duo split up, Simon and Garfunkel's Greatest Hits-a mix of 10 studio tracks (nine of them singles) and four (then) previously unreleased live recordings-sold more than 14 million copies in the US alone. The Central Park Concert took place in 1981 when they were both almost 40 years old. They look so beautiful here, and they were possibly at the peak of their vocal abilities. Some have said that they can see friction and even hatred between the two of them during this concert, but I have watched it many times and haven't noticed anything like that.

Redirected from Simon and Garfunkel: The Concert In Central Park). The Concert in Central Park, released in February 1982 on Warner Bros. Records, is the first live album by American folk rock duo Simon & Garfunkel. It was recorded in September 1981 at a free benefit concert in Central Park, New York City, where the pair performed in front of more than 500,000 people. Proceeds went toward the redevelopment and maintenance of the park, which had deteriorated due to lack of municipal funding
