High and Dry" is a song by the English alternative rock band Radiohead, released as the first single from their second studio album The Bends (1995). It was released as a double A-side with album opener "Planet Telex". High and Dry" was released in the UK on 5 March 1995. Songwriter Thom Yorke performed an early version of the song with the band Headless Chickens while he was a student at University of Exeter in the late 1980s.
