Eric Leeds (born January 19, 1952) is an American saxophone player, mostly known for his work with Prince Eric Leeds. January 19, 1952 (age 67) Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States. In 1991, Leeds released the album Times Squared on Prince's Paisley Park Records, which incorporated rock, pop and jazz sounds. The tracks that Leeds chose for the album were recorded by Prince and Leeds between 1985 and 1988. A second album, entitled Things Left Unsaid, was released in 1993 with one Prince contribution. The Family reunited in 2007 under the name Fdeluxe with all original members (except Jerome Benton), including Leeds. In 2012, they released their album, Gaslight, independently. Live from Madison Square Garden is a 2 CD/2 DVD live album by Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood which was released on 19 May 2009 by Duck, Reprise Records. The album is made up of recordings from Clapton and Winwood's performances at Madison Square Garden in February 2008. It is Eric Clapton's ninth live album and Steve Winwood's first live album as a solo artist.

A long time associate of Prince. he played with him in the 1980's as a part of The Revolution and was a part of Prince's jazz project, Madhouse. This was released by Paisley Park. To the side is Eric Leeds, with his own display of solo albums: his début Times Squared, Things Left Unsaid, Now & Again. , Detail of Madhouse 8 back cover with Maneca Lightner, Prince’s then girlfriend, photographed by Richard Litt. , The 16 album took shape as Madhouse rolled through Paris, Milan, Berlin, and several other European cities. Prince chased his jazz jones jamming on the Charlie Parker chestnut Now’s the Time with Matt Fink, Eric Leeds, drummer Sheila . and the rest of the Sign o’ the Times band regularly during the tour. That core quartet later made up the Madhouse band of 16, recorded in one week at Prince’s home studio and the newly opened Paisley Park Studios from July 30 to August 2. The thirty-seven-minute album hit stores three months later, on November 18.
